Through its Horizon Europe funded projects, EUSPA is bringing the benefits of EU Space to international markets.

On 1 July 2023, EUSPA took over the EU Space Surveillance and Tracking (EU SST) Front Desk operations. One year later, the Front Desk continues successfully contributing to space safety and sustainability and expanding the SST user community

The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) is seeking experts to provide advisory support to the Agency on various tasks. These include evaluating applications for EU funding, overseeing EU-funded projects and contracts, and providing opinions and advice on specific issues.

From boosting European competitiveness to addressing a range of European priorities – including those set by the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union – EU Space is but one example of the many things that make Europe great already.

EUSPA has published a new Fundamental Elements funding scheme grant to support the integration of Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS) in maritime positioning and/or navigation solutions. 

Based on the outcomes of the annual User Consultation Platforms, the User Needs & Requirements reports look at how the EU Space market is evolving – and what this means for different market segments.  

EUSPA aims to engage the private sector and boost the data use of the EU Earth Observation system, Copernicus. Projected global revenues will grow from €3.4 billion in 2023 to €6 billion by 2033. EUSPA's Copernicus Demonstrator showcases the operational benefits of Copernicus data across priority market sectors.

SPACE4Cities is a EUSPA-funded pre-commercial procurement project that aims to use European satellite data to better manage public space, green areas, transport infrastructure and city maintenance.
